Glutathione as a Powerful Antioxidant
Glutathione is an important anti-oxidant and free radical scavenger produced by your own body. Talk about natural, then this must be perhaps number one, your own body makes glutathoine. It is found in an around your cells and throughout many tissues. One significant peer review paper concluded that low levels of glutathione was associated with diseases.
Many protocols exist, yet one thing most authorities do agree is that oral pills are not as effective as IV administration. The first pass through the liver and stomach acids destroy much of that which is taken by mouth. So pills may serve some benefit, but IV glutathione is the gold standard. Glutathione IV goes directly to where it is needed, through the blood stream when given intravenously (directly in the vein). A much higher concentrations can be obtained through intravenous administration,not possible with pills. It is for this reason we prefer the IV therapy, but may also supplement with glutathione pills.
